The director of One on One Tutoring Spanish school in Granada, Roger A. Ramirez, was born and raised in the Granadian community, and personally visits each of the families offering home-stay service to guarantee you a family located in the center of town that is clean, hospitable, and eager to speak to you (in Spanish, of course). Students and travelers pay directly to the families.

Home-stay with a Nica family: Private room, 3 home-cooked meals per day and laundry service for 7 whole days. $85 USD

Other dirty clothes the student might bring at arrival time, the family will charge extra for the service.

Whenever a student is not sure for how long he will be staying in town, but wants to experience our culture by staying with one of the local families, the student can stay with any of our host families for a cost of $14 USD per day.

If the student is only interested in sharing time with a nica family to learn about our culture, to practice their Spanish speaking abilities, and to take advantage of the private room they offer the cost would be as follows.

Home-stay with a Nica family no laundry, no meals: Private room for 7 whole days. $65 USD

In conclusion:

Room, meals and laundry for 7 days: $85 USD

Room and meals only per day: $14 USD

Room only for 7 days: $65 USD
