Local Activities: In order to make your stay with us a much more pleasant occurrence and because we are sure you wish to get a better feel of our culture, colonial structures and nature; Tutoria Uno a Uno has prepared for those students who wish to add some local activities to their learning program, a package which will guarantee their stay to be a unique experience.

City Tour: Students get to know the colonial city of Granada, where accompanied by one of the instructors, they will get to visit various sights of historical interest such us Convento de San Francisco, Plaza Mayor, Muros de Xalteva, Iglesia de Guadalupe, Estacion de Ferrocarril, Capilla de las Animas del Cementerio, El Malecon, Fortaleza La Polvora, Granada's various Catedrales, Museo Casa de los Tres Mundos, Museo Tenderi, La Casa de Antiguedades. Cost: $5 USD per person

Isletas Tour: In this majestic archipelago with volcanic origin, our students enjoys exuberant flora and fauna, a unique view of volcan Mombacho, as well Ometepe island; where you will find two impressive volcanoes: el Concepcion and el Maderas. Admire a fortress of the 19th century, which is situated near the island of San Pablo, and watch a colony of monkeys, that lives on a small island and which, funnily, approach the boat as it gets close. Cost: $10 USD per person

San Juan de Oriente & Catarina: San Juan de Oriente; a small village whose population lives from art works and horse breeding. The location gives the village a pleasant climate and on the top of the hill you will find the famous Mirador de Catarina, where you can admire the magnificent view over Laguna de Apoyo. Be ready! Here, at San Juan de Oriente, you will be able to get all the souvenir you could ever need. Cost: $10 USD per person

Laguna de Apoyo: Our students get to the bottom of a crater where they get to swim in Nicaragua's cleanest, bluest, and deepest swimming hole. Cost: $10 USD per person
