The professors at Tutoria Uno a Uno are trained and certified from beginning to advanced levels, using techniques which are recognized as effective for learning a foreign language by the National Technical Institute of Nicaragua (INATEC). INATEC is a government board which regulates technical and vocational schooling in Nicaragua. Tutoria Uno a Uno is the only language school in Granada to pass the rigorous INATEC certification process.

Additionally, most of our instructors are bright young people who are trying to make their way through university and at the same time help their families make ends meet. When Tutoria Uno a Uno opened its doors, it was nothing more than a one room school, but time came and more teachers were needed; school Director Roger A. Ramirez decided the best way to help his community was by giving the opportunity of a decent and fair job to youngsters that need support in a country where economy is terribly weak.
